Byung J. “BJay” Pak was sworn in as the 25th presidentially appointed U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia in 2017. Some of his most noteworthy cases are the Jeffrey Epstein victims’ rights and Atlanta City Hall’s corruption probe.
From January 2011 to January 2017, Pak served in the Georgia General Assembly as a State Representative from the 108th District and from 2002 to 2008, he served as assistant U.S. Attorney in the criminal division. Previously, he was in private practice handling complex civil litigation and defending clients in white-collar investigations and prosecutions.
