Senator Johnny Isakson To Speak at the Atlanta Press Club

U. S. Senator Johnny Isakson will give a legislative update at an Atlanta Press Club Newsmaker luncheon on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Who
Johnny Isakson is serving his second term in the U.S. Senate and has built a respected record of public service in the state of Georgia. Before being elected to the Senate, Isakson served 17 years in the Georgia Legislature and two years as chairman of the Georgia Board of Education. He then served three terms in the U.S. House.

Isakson is the only Republican senator to chair two committees in the 114th Congress: the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and the Senate Select Committee on Ethics. He is also a member of the Senate Committee on Finance, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, as well as the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

The ticket price does not include parking. Parking is available in the 191 Building parking deck with entrances on Ellis Street and Peachtree Center Avenue.  Discounted parking vouchers for this deck will be available for $5 at the event. Guests must bring the ticket they receive upon entering the deck to receive a discount. The Peachtree Center MARTA station is also conveniently located nearby.
